Zappos is a pioneering, market-leading eCommerce company transforming their brand image by investing in a creative studio in downtown Los Angeles (at The Row).
This studio will support their world class customer experience while telling their story in a contemporary, emotion-oriented fashion.
First, they plan to identify highly engaged audiences across owned channels by developing interest-based content tailored to that audience. Then they’ll establish a visually consistent, top-of-mind presence that triggers surprise and delight.
They want to hire a Project Manager to play a key role on this growing team to drive creative and production across channels.
In this new, highly creative and production oriented department this role resembles a managing editor at a publisher.
You will work with outside content creators (writers/photographers/influencers) to ensure work is delivered on time and on brief.
You will work with eCom site merchants, you’ll work with stylists, you’ll work with creative artists, you’ll work with social media editors. You will be the bridge for everyone to stay on brief and on time.
You will manage timelines and deliverables on projects involving external creative talent.
You will meet with various departments within this large brand organization and vet creative needs based on dates, deliverables and budgets.
You will collaborate with all stakeholders to develop marketing briefs and manage all communication around needs of brief and deliverables to hit goals / timelines.
You will build and manage creative production calendars across customer verticals (for instance, “kids”).
You will be a key leader and touchpoint to figure out how and when assets are shared, circulated and acted upon.
You will be traffic leader for creative shoot assets for output on site, social, etc.
You will, in the future, help build a team of jr. project managers. You will then manage that team.
You will provide project status reports based on frequent interactions with design and content teams and internal/external stakeholders.
You will report out to internal and external teams on project status and action items.
3 yrs. admin experience (preferred)
Minimum 3 yrs. marketing experience (preferred)
Minimum 3-6 yrs. project and/or account management experience required
