EVERYTHING BUT THE HOUSE (EBTH) is a revolutionary online estate sale company. EBTH was born out of a passion for interior design, a desire to change the way that design is discovered, and a commitment to providing sellers with a better alternative for selling their property.
EBTH is at an exciting stage of growth. There has been a change in leadership at the top (new CEO & CMO), a consolidation of markets, and a renewed focus putting the customer first. While based in Cincinnati, The West Hollywood creative outpost (blocks away from the site of new Bottega Louie) is on verge of a makeover with a dedicated team taking shape executing an exciting road map leading this digital first brand into the real world. Physical stores and experiences will be opening up in their eight major US markets over the course of 2018/2019.
The SVP of Merchandising and Content needs a right hand designer who will be the go-to for creation and collaboration on creative needs on and off-line. In this role, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the overarching art direction of the business, work across multiple channels, and be an early team member in an office that will grow over the next six months.
This is a full-time, competitively salaried position with benefits and an equity stake in the company.
What you'll do:
Focus on the on-line experience: site redesign and updates, blog, landing page, social, email marketing, digital ads, and HR and internal documents
Conceptualize, elevate, maintain, and be accountable for the quality of work and timeliness of delivery across multiple creative projects. Project managing to make deadlines
Work directly with stakeholders, copywriter, B2B team, and merchandising team to create engaging, inspiring and on brand digital assets
Support the creative team with ad hoc marketing assets and digital campaigns: emails, landing pages, print and digital ad production
Build out new marketing initiatives: Adhoc, transactional, business series, and other digital campaigns
Deliver printed collateral and other special projects to elevate all customer facing platforms
At least 4 years of experience in Graphic Design with an emphasis in eCommerce.
Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator
Experience designing and producing websites, emails, templates or other web assets in the art, lifestyle, home or fashion
Understanding of marketing language of e-commerce design: hierarchy, call to action, conversion, etc.
Ability to translate style guide into visually compelling and easy-to-navigate designs for emails, instagram, blog, banners, etc
Possess a passion for, and strength in, recognizing excellent web typography and layout composition
Photo retouching skills is a must for this role.
Background in retail home lifestyle online is a plus.
